WE CONTINUE SOLVING THE LINEAR EQUATIONS …

WE ARE ON BLOG 8TH OF THE LINEAR EQUATION TODAY

KINDLY DON'T FORGET TO WRITE THE DATE

KEEP A WRITTEN RECORD OF EVERY BLOG IN A REGISTER WHICH WILL BE COLLECTED AS SOON AS YOU JOIN BACK.

ALSO.... THERE IS 20 MINUTE MCQ TEST ON THE LINEAR EQUATIONS KINDLY DO AFTER THE CLASSWORK OF TODAY...

By the end of this lesson you will be able to……

REDUCE EQUATIONS THAT ARE GIVEN IN THE BRACKETT FORM TO SIMPLER FORM and hence solve the linear equation

WE START with Ex 2.5 dividing the exercise into two parts

Q.7  to q. 10 ( Equations involving the brackets(blog 8)

Q.1 to Q.6 ( Equations involving the fractions)(blog 9)

  NCERT EX 2.5 {KINDLY NOTE DOWN ALL THE ANSWERS IN YOUR NOTEBOOK}

Q.7
                 3  ( t- 3) = 5 ( 2t - 1)
                 3t   - 9      =   10t  - 5

{the number outside the bracket is  given to both the numbers inside the }

               3t   - 10t   = -5 +9 = 4

                             -7 t = 4

                              t = -4 /7  {ans}
Q.8

           15( y - 4) -2(y-9) + 5(y+6) = 0

           15 y -60 -2y +18 + 5y +30 = 0  {taking all the integers on one side }

                                 15y -2y +5y  = 60 -18 -30

                                                 18y = 12

                                                      y =  2 /3 {ans}

Q.9.
                 3 (5z - 7) – 2 (9z - 11 ) = 4 (8z -13) -17

              15z -21  -18z +22    =  32z  - 52 -17 {OPENING THE BRACKETS
                    15z -32z -18z              =  -52 -17 -22 +21

                                -35 z                = -70

                                    z                = -70 / -35 = 2 (ans)

Q.10
                      0.25( 4f  -3 ) = 0.05 (10f -9)

                0.25 x 4f -0.25x3  = 0.05 x 10f – 0.05 x9 (opening the brackets )

                         f     -  0.75     =    0.5 f      - 0.45

                           f     - 0.5 f       =   0.75    -  0.45 { fractions on one side }

                                (1- 0.5 )f  =    0.30

                                     0.5 f     =    0.30

                                            f      =    6    {ans }

BEFORE WE MOVE TO THE NEXT TOPIC LET'S TEST OUR UNDERSTANDING OF LINEAR EQUATION BY A VERY SIMPLE TEST
