 SO  HOW TO SOLVE  ?

 steps to be followed are 👇

 (write in your register)

STEP 1 Reduce it to a linear equation form by cross multiplying 

STEP 2 :  Open the brackets 

Step 3  :  solve the linear equation

lets apply all the 3 steps  (Do it in register )

 ⇒1( z - 10 ) =  2 ( z + 9 )

 ⇒1( z - 10 ) =  2 ( z + 9 )( cross multiplication )

  ⇒1z - 10 = 2z +  18  ( by opening bracket )

 ⇒1z  - 2z  = 18 + 10   ( transposing 

 ⇒-1z  = 28

 ⇒z = 28  / -1 

z =  - 28
